Finale Ligure is made up of three districts, joined from the beginning of the twentieth century into the town of Finale Ligure.
Arriving by car, after leaving the highway you will first meet the medieval village of Finalborgo, which is 1 mile from the sea in the valley of Pora. Continuing along the road you will reach the shore near the rugged walls of Caprazoppa west bordering the town of Finale. Following the Aurelia along the coast eastwards, you arrive at the district of Finalmarina after passing the railway station. Finalmarina develops in a few dozen meters from the shore and is dominated by a steep hill. To the right of Aurelia you have the lively pedestrian zone full of shops, restaurants and bars. Continuing on Aurelia you finally arrive at the district of Finalpia, more residential than the other two districts, which extends for several hundred meters from the coast along the river Sciusa behind the Benedictine abbey of the sixteenth century.
After Finalpia, Aurelia passes through a short tunnel and continues in the charming area of San Donato, surrounded by cliffs and free beaches with convenient facilities. After the tourist port, Aurelia finally arrives after about another 1.5 km to the village of Varigotti.
Our apartment is located in a residential neighborhood in the center of Finalpia, 500 meters of flat road from the bathing establishments and from a free beach with some facilities. The shops are at 100 meters. Westwards you arrive at the pedestrian zone of Finalmarina after 700 meters, at the train station after 1.8 km, at Finalborgo after about 3 km. To the east, the free beaches of San Donato are at 750 meters, while Varigotti is 3 kilometers away.
We recommend that our guests, especially during the summer, make moderate use of the car to visit the coastal area. Finalborgo and Varigotti and are easily accessible by public transport (there is also a small train that goes to Finalborgo from the center of Finalmarina in summer nights) or by bike (the roads are flat). It's advisable to take the car to visit the villages of Verezzi and Noli, both at a few kilometers, or to explore the hills around Finale Ligure: for example, you can reach the plateau of Manie for a walk in the fresh and enjoy a great view of the Riviera, or visit the ancient Roman bridges in Valleponci, or try one of the many holiday farms around Finale.

If using a GPS, you can set "via dei Glicini, Finale Ligure" as destination. Coming from the east (Milan / Turin / Genoa), some navigators suggest to leave the higway at the Spotorno exit, which precedes Finale Ligure. You can ignore the directions and follow the highway until the exit of Finale Ligure (you will also pass the Feglino exit, between Spotorno and Finale). If leaving the highway at Spotorno, after the exit you will drive along contry roads on the hills behind Finale, with several curves and some bottlenecks. This route, shorter by about 4.5 km, is advisable when the highway is very busy.

The apartment is located 1.7 km from the railway station of Finale Ligure. From there, you can reach us:
- on foot, mainly following the nice seaside walk of Finale
- by bus: local line 31 stops in front of the station and at 100 meters from our apartment: please ask the driver for the "Bolognani" stop. Tickets can be purchased at the newsstand in the station
- by taxi: the ride costs around 7 euro
The sea, the shops and the town center are all at a short distance from the apartment, and can be reached by walking along sidewalks or pedestrian roads. You can also borrow some of our bicycles.

The nearest airports are those of Albenga (25 km) and Genoa (75 km). The airports most frequently used by our international guests are those of Nice, Malpensa and Orio al Serio.
